How do I install Ivideon Client?
Ivideon Client application can be installed on computers with Windows, macOS, and Linux-based operating systems.
Windows:
To install Ivideon Client, please follow the steps:
Download Ivideon Client here.
Run IvideonClient.exe setup file.
Follow the instructions of the installation wizard and click Finish at the end.
macOS:
To install Ivideon Client, follow the steps:
Download Ivideon Client here.
Run IvideonClient_macosx-x86-64.dmg file.
Follow the instructions of the installation wizard and click Finish at the end.
Linux:
There are two ways to install Ivideon Client on Linux:
1. Using a script
Download the Ivideon Client for Linux installation script using this link.
Open your download directory using Terminal and run the following commands:
$ chmod +x ./install-ivideon-client.sh
$ sudo ./install-ivideon-client.sh
Launch Ivideon Client. To do that on Ubuntu Desktop, enter Ivideon in the Dash search box. In the search results, click on the Ivideon Client icon. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard.
2. Manually
Ivideon Client can be installed or updated from the open Ivideon repository.
To do so, run the following commands in the Terminal app:
$ sudo wget http://packages.ivideon.com/ubuntu/keys/ivideon.list -O /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ivideon.list
$ wget -O - http://packages.ivideon.com/ubuntu/keys/ivideon.key | sudo apt-key add -
$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install ivideon-client
Launch Ivideon Client. To do that on Ubuntu Desktop, enter “Ivideon” in the Dash search box. In the search results, click on the Ivideon Client icon. Follow the instructions of the setup wizard.
