Ivideon Server has a hidden mode which helps conceal the icon of the app in the system tray, as well as the main window when it starts and the system notifications about the server status. This feature is necessary if you need to hide the fact that you are conducting surveillance, e.g., you do not want other users of your PC to know that this computer is running as a video server.
To enable the hidden mode:
Stop Ivideon Server by clicking on the Stop button.
Click on the Settings button on the toolbar of the main window of the program.
In the next window, in the General tab at the bottom of the window, put a checkmark next to the Remove the icon from the notification area option and click OK:
NB! The hidden mode option as described above is available in Ivideon Server running on Windows only if you install the program as a regular app, i.e., not as a service.
If you use the program as a service, to switch to hidden mode, please click the Exit button in the main window while the server is started and choose the option to Exit without stopping the video server.
This method can be used is present in the Windows and Linux versions of the Server app, however, Ivideon Server for macOS does not have it.
