Webcam stopped working

  1. Make sure the camera is connected to a USB slot of your PC.

  2. Stop the server by clicking the Stop button on the toolbar of the program’s main window.

  3. Double-click the name of the camera in the list. Check if the video is playing in the preview window that opens.

If the video is unavailable in the preview mode:

  1. Close other apps that might already be using your camera;

  2. Attempt using ManyCam or any other splitter software. You can find information about this software here.

  3. Update your webcam’s driver. It is recommended to download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

  1. Measure the internet speed on the same PC using a site like www.speedtest.net:

a) The upload speed in the network with the cameras installed needs to more than 2 Mbps per camera.
b) The download speed in the network where you’re viewing the devices needs to be more than 2 Mbps per camera viewed.
c) If the speed is lower than these requirements, try lowering the video quality.

     2. Check the status of Ivideon Server – when the server connects successfully, the status should say “Started | Connected to the cloud”.
